Football is the focus for the BBN today, but one of the nations top basketball recruits made his decision this afternoon.
Around 12:30 today, the nations 32nd ranked recruit, Oscar Tshiebwe picked West Virginia. Tshiebwe, a 6 feet 8, 230 pound center picked the Mountaineers over Kentucky and Illinois. Tshiebwe received offers from Kansas, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Baylor, etc.

Tshiebwe was at one time considered a Kentucky lock, but for the past few months, West Virginia has been the favorite to land Tshiebwe.
So far, Kentucky has landed three commitments in the 2019 class in Dontaie Allen, Kahlil Whitney, and Tyrese Maxey, all top 100 recruits.
Kentucky still has a chance to get the nation’s number one recruit in James Wiseman and the number three recruit in Vernon Carey Jr.
According to 247 Sports Crystal Ball, Memphis is the favorite to get Wiseman and Duke is the favorite to get Carey Jr.
