Kahlil Whitney commits to Kentucky

It was just last week when five-star small forward DJ Jeffries decommitted from Kentucky and reopened his recruitment.  Becoming the first decommit in the Cal era.

Today, five-star small forward Kahlil Whitney, who is ranked no. 14 in the ESPN 100 and is the second ranked small forward In the 2019 class, committed to Kentucky.  Whitney’s decision comes just days after his unofficial visit to Kentucky.

Whitey joins Pendleton County’s Dontaie Allen and Tyrese Maxey in Kentucky’s 2019 class.

“My family and I have truly found the best option for me to continue my development, not only as a student and a basketball player, but also as a man.  With that said, I am thrilled to announce that I have committed to THE University of Kentucky.”
